Shopping, restaurants and medical facilities are available within the surrounding area. City in the Hills Park, Hart Memorial Park, California Living Museum, and Lake Ming offer an array of nearby water activities and other outdoor amenities such as equestrian trails, picnic areas, and a wildlife habitat. Residents of Four Seasons also have a number of golf courses in the area including Kern River Golf Course, Rio Bravo Country Club Golf Course, and the Bakersfield Country Club Golf Course.

Residents pay a reasonable monthly homeowners association fee that covers front-yard maintenance and upkeep of all the amenities. This fee also covers a full-time, on-site management staff to assist the residents.

The Lodge

The 14,000 square-foot clubhouse in Four Seasons, also called The Lodge, is the center of the community. Residents can work out at the fitness center, enjoy a book from the library, play cards or shoot pool with friends in the game room, stay connected while using the computer lab or indulge in their hobbies in the craft room. Unique amenities include the beauty salon and movie theatre. There is also a large ballroom used for a variety of social events.

The Four Season staff office is located in the main lobby area.  The staff is available to assist residents with questions, reservations and any concerns. The staff also produces a monthly community newsletter called the Messenger. It contains a calendar of all scheduled events, information from the Board of Directors and other news from around the Four Seasons community.
The craft room is used for a variety workshops and meetings.
Movies are scheduled several times a day or residents can select movies from the film library.
The popcorn machine is very popular with movie goers and gamers.
Computer Lab
The Computer Lab contains 4 PC's and two connections for laptop computers. There is also a Laser Printer available for public use. The entire building and surounding courtyards are covered by high speed WiFi.
Community residents often meet and relax in the Lodge lobby.
The library is used for meetings, games, and relaxing with a book.
The fitness center has a variety of free weights, strength conditioning machines, treadmills, ellipticals, and cycles.
Adjacent to the workout area are Lockers and showers.
The game room is very popular with residents. Pool tournaments are held periodically and a variety of board games are available for groups to use.

Four Seasons residents enjoy luxurious living with great amenities in the Lodge. The very friendly community is a great place to make new friends, learn additional hobbies, and join new clubs. Some of these clubs are the book club, crafters club, koffee klatch, bridge club, computer club, neighbor to neighbor club, sunshine club, and dance fitness club. The social committee plans special events such as the New Year’s Eve party, Tuscany Night, Annual Pool Party, Fourth of July Parade, Halloween Party, and out-of-town bus trips.

The Grounds

In addition to the many events happening in the Lodge, there are also a wide variety of outdoor activities such as bocce ball, pickleball, horseshoes, tennis, water volleyball, and water aerobics.  Residents enjoy the resort-like pool area, spa and patio.  There is a barbecue area on the deck, which overlooks the pool area. Gardens are part of the Lodge surroundings with walkways and pocket parks throughout the community.

The pool is a highlight of the outdoor area surrounded by beautiful palms and lovely patio. Nearby is the spa and restrooms with outdoor shower.

Patio seating is available in the barbecue area with a view of the pool and grounds.
There are four barbecue grills each with a sink and refrigerator.
The gazebo is often enjoyed by a group of friends in this beautiful setting.
Pickleball is very popular with beginning and advanced groups playing often.
The putting green has seating for relaxing.
Dog friendly areas throughout the community.

Four Seasons is a pet friendly community. Every morning there are numerous residents walking their dog(s), often stopping to visit with neighbors. Waste stations with bags and receptacles are available throughout the community. The paseo sidewalk areas allow dogs and owners to stroll through the community away from the roads and cars. Benches and drinking fountains are also located throughout the walkways. 

Dogs are often seen waiting patiently while the owners visit.
Waste stations are often found in the many pocket parks throughout the community.
Comfortable seating is all around the patio area.
Residents often meet around the fire pit for wine and snacks. Nearby there is a ping-pong table and ample seating for a gathering.
Horseshoes is enjoyed by family groups. Equipment is available at the Lodge staff office.
Many residents have joined the Bocce Ball Club and enjoy the competition.
Tennis is always a favorite sport for residents, their friends and families.
The paseo walkways are lined with gardens and away from the roads and cars, making it a nice place for dog walking.
When out for a stroll, dogs are required to be on a leash.
