Where:  Ballroom

Description:

Safety First at Four Seasons began as a spin-off of the Emergency Preparedness Ad Hoc Committee. The Emergency Ad Hoc Committee reviewed and updated the current Lodge emergency procedures, emergency action plans and community emergency procedures during power outages, earthquakes, fire, flood, and active shooter emergencies.

Safety First @ Four Seasons club will provide emergency preparedness resources and information for the Four Seasons HOA website, as well as twice per year schedule Neighborhood Watch and American Red Cross presentations.

The Neighborhood Watch program is a most effective crime prevention program bringing citizens together with law enforcement to deter crime and make communities safer. It is getting to know each other and becoming familiar with neighbor’s habits and vehicles so that you will know when something is suspicious or out of the ordinary. Residents should not confront suspects or take any personal risks, nor does the program make you a nosy neighbor – it makes you a good neighbor in the old-fashioned sense of the word.

Benefits of Having a Neighborhood Watch:

  • Improved home security
  • Improved livability
  • Information about available resources, services, and emergency preparedness
  • Knowing your neighbors and looking out for one another
  • A partnership with the Police Department
  • A team concept of neighbors working together

Emergency Preparedness program is knowing that an emergency can happen at any time. Be self-prepared for any emergency with a safety preparedness plan, basic supplies, and advance planning. Whether a storm, an earthquake, a wildfire, or a flood comes our way, preparedness will help everyone cope better and stay safer.
